ISMS is a vertical module that extends Microsoft Dynamics Ax’s standard capability catering to the steel industry’s unique requirements.  

 

Customizing the standard module, such as finance, accounts receivable and accounts payable, ISMS further developed additional modules specifically for the steel industry.

 

Some of the major features includes: Coil management, Milling Certificates, Vendor coil number recording and  tracking with user definable properties such as metal grades, density, thickness; process dependent production order and tracking (slitting, shearing, blanking,   stamping,  annealing  and  repacking),  scrap  and  off-cut tracking and furnace management.
